Investigate what flora and fauna can be found in the Ribble Valley. The morning will be spent around Alston Hall followed by a 3 mile circular walk in the afternoon along the banks of the River Ribble. The walks follow roads and footpaths, passing through rural fields. The day is suitable for anyone interested in nature, walking, photography and wildlife illustration. No previous experience necessary but note that: the afternoon walk will include walking up and down slopes and climbing 3 or 4 stiles.
